ZⓈONAMACO 2026: Mexico City
Galerie Andres Thalmann is pleased to announce its participation in ZⓈONAMACO 2026, Latin America’s leading international contemporary art fair, taking place from February 4 to 8, 2026, in Mexico City.
Within the vibrant context of ZⓈONAMACO ART WEEK, the gallery will present works by Claude Viallat, a seminal figure of the Supports/Surfaces movement. Viallat’s practice, characterized by repetition, color, and the liberation of painting from traditional formats, has played a decisive role in redefining contemporary painting since the late 1960s.
The presentation brings together key aspects of Viallat’s oeuvre, highlighting his ongoing exploration of material, surface, and pattern, and underscoring the continued relevance of his work in today’s artistic discourse.
